Chris Wunder
OK. You’re through your busiest season. How do you keep your cash flow going? How do you keep your best staff members happily employed so they stay around for the NEXT busy season? If you or a staff member have good family portraiture skills or are willing to hire a skilled contract photographer, don’t miss the opportunities to do VOLUME family portraits by offering Membership Directory programs for Churches, Country Clubs, and Homeowners Associations. Since COVID, there is high demand for the popular service and very little competition since Lifetouch left this market during the pandemic. And because the work is typically done at a remote location, this work is perfect for photographers who don’t have a brick-and-mortar studio or any staff at all.
Best of all, Directory programs are a great way to introduce yourself to clients for photography in ParochialSchools & Church Academies, Childcare Centers & Preschools, and Faith-based Sports programs. These programs will also help introduce hundreds of new potential clients to other types of work you do.
New paradigms in technology have made this program even easier to do traditional print and DIGITAL membership directories that work on smartphones and tablets. Offer your customers 10-minute mini-sessions, 6 per hour, working WEEKDAY afternoons and evenings. Sales are handled online through the GotPhoto platform. Expect to bring in $400-$600 per hour for the 10-minute mini-sessions.
Your speaker, Chris Wunder, Cr. Photog. ASP, is the leading U.S. expert in this field, and he will share the secrets and best practices you need to start making big money quickly in the Membership Directory business.
Chris Wunder, Cr. Photog. ASP, is one of the most recognized experts in the volume photography business. He has taught over 200 workshops on various segments of volume photography, and has authored several books, many articles and training videos to help photographers enter this lucrative market. He’s currently Executive Director of the Volume Imaging Professionals Association, LLC where he provides support to the Members and is Administrator to its Accreditation program.

Jonathan Billings
With data management, many new photographers simply don’t have even a basic understanding of excel, spreadsheets, or how it is utilized within the GotPhoto system. We would like to share some of the methods we have used to get the crazy data we get from organizations reformatted into a useable table to use within the GotPhoto system. From there we then want to show what some of the things you can do with the data when you export it back out of GotPhoto.
Attendees will leave with enough tips and tricks that can save them countless hours having to be in front of the spreadsheets of doom.
Jonathan S. Billing, BFA Photography, MBA, is the CEO and Chief Photographer of both Archer Photography and PortraitEFX of the Pacific Northwest (a division of Archer Photography). Jonathan has been a professional photographer his entire adult working career, and with 30 years of experience, he knows exactly how to make everything from photo day to final photo delivery go like clockwork.
